That's strange. Do you see any problem messages on your screen when you start the computer? Check the back of your board as you turn it on. Not really, not even if I look closely.

kingkodap : harrystam : That's strange. Does your motherboard show any error codes? Check if there are any messages on your screen or lights while your PC starts up. Not exactly what I can read here 😔 Check your manual for a reset step or look at the little battery button on your board. If you don't have that, just disconnect the power and remove the small battery to make it start over. It's kind of guesswork without more info, but that's all we know.

I'm not sure how fast your screen goes black... Right away - or if it takes a few seconds; but if you can get into Safe Mode, that would be good. Try turning on your PC and hitting the F8 key or Shift + F8, then try entering Safe Mode.

Try turning on your PC and hitting F8 or Shift + F8, then try to enter safe mode. Sorry for taking so long, I took out the battery from my MoBo and it still doesn't work. The screen goes dark after pressing Delete in Bios and F11 for Boot set up. Shift + F8 and F8 don't do anything on my computer at all as far as i can tell.

kingkodap : harrystam : I'm not sure how fast your screen goes black...Immediately - or if it takes a few seconds; but if you could get into safe mode, that would be ideal. Try starting up your PC and hammer on that F8 key or Shift + F8, then try and enter safe mode. Sorry for taking so long, I pulled out the battery to my MoBo and it still does not work. The screen goes dark AFTER the option of pressing Delete for Bios and F11 for Boot set up. Shift + F8 and F8 do not do anything on my computer as far as i can tell. All good. Hopefully the battery is back in. lol. There's always the possibility that you just got a bad gpu. It may have went bad somewhere along the lines. Do you have another gpu that you can swap out and try booting up with?

The battery just stores your bios settings.

Don't dig up old stories. Instead, start fresh with what you need right now.
