There are varied reports, but using Razer or Logitech macros for recoil reduction doesn't always guarantee a ban. It depends on the game and platform policies.

BattlEye functions similarly. I don’t suggest relying on macros; I prefer to develop my abilities within the game and enjoy achieving success. Using macros for such purposes wouldn’t provide the same satisfaction.

I don’t understand, but why not just master the game and pull your mouse down? Creating a macro is much more difficult than simply dragging your mouse, which delivers the same or better result once you’re skilled, and requires far less effort. Edit: Not even a calorie UwU
Spoiler: Get good at it!

GIT GUD Anyway... If it's a software emulation then skip it. If it's mimicking hardware, it'd be tough to spot, and I'd say no. But most people have a reaction time between 100-300ms. So if your script runs under 50ms and does the same actions in the same intervals (not just slightly varied), that would be pretty easy to detect.

Essentially the homeless player attempted to avoid detection by employing macros, but BattleEye isn’t able to identify them. Still, you remain concerned about potential reports, and naturally, using hacks or cheating is involved.

I don't think it's a cheat; it feels identical to what you'd experience on a 240Hz display instead of a 60Hz one.

Shaiiko was suspended from Pro League ESL for two years after using a macro to gain an unfair advantage over rivals. Battleye hasn't noticed anyone employing it, nor did I feel the urge to test macros during those times in the terrorist hunt. However, for competitive siege games like ESL, you must run MOSS which records every keystroke and latency details, making macro detection very straightforward.

This situation is quite different. A higher refresh rate doesn't affect gameplay experience. Using macros to skip recoil counts as an exploit aligns with what I've discussed before. Superior hardware advantages are normal. Everyone isn't at the same level, so we just need to adapt.

Creating a macro in siege is really tough because it depends on randomness. Still, features like manipulating character models and speed are useful. Techniques such as ADS'ing, proning, or crouching quickly by pressing the button five times in half a second work, but they can be annoying when someone drops suddenly instead of after 200ms.

I haven’t used R6S much, so please give it a chance. I treat macros just like shortcuts—neither better nor worse.
