I've experienced this issue with my PC for roughly four months. Occasionally it would crash during shutdown, showing the error code PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. After that, it would jump straight into BIOS, which seemed unusual. My graphics drivers appear outdated, and I have a 3060. Recently, it completely stopped working—on any crash it would enter recovery, then after restarting it would boot into Windows but nothing functional afterward. Anyone know what's going on?

Specs: i7-13700K, RTX 3060 x2, Corsair 16GB RAM, 1TB M.2 SSD, 1TB HDD, 750W PSU, OS: Windows 11 64-bit.

the problem usually stems from driver problems, corrupt files, or a faulty Windows installation. first, ensure all device drivers are installed and current—this covers BIOS, chipset, GPU, and any other required drivers. run the command "sfc /scannow" in the Windows command prompt to check for system issues. locating and sharing your Windows minidump file can also aid troubleshooting, as it contains details about crashes.

The question is unclear. Could you clarify what you mean by "get into Windows"?

Refers to BIOS settings—when saving and quitting boots, it returns to BIOS rather than Windows. Verify that all SATA devices are recognized in BIOS, particularly the boot drive.

Absolutely nothing was noted regarding storage devices. That's all I had to say.

It’s possible a loose SSD could be responsible for the issues you’re experiencing.

If the links are weak, it might happen, though it’s unlikely unless you physically touch the PC. I’m not sure if it would create a short in some cases, but it could work occasionally. It’s worth checking to confirm.
