No audio output from the computer during a Bluetooth call using a headset on Windows 11
Weeks ago I could easily connect to calls using my Bluetooth headset (WH-1000XM4) without issues, except for the fact that everything sounded in low quality audio when the microphone was active. Now, whenever I join a call or use the microphone, I can't hear anything clearly. I understand what others are saying, but my own voice comes through the headset mic. I've tried turning off hands-free mode, but it just turns off the mic, which isn't helpful. I need to be able to talk and listen at the same time with the same device, even with low quality audio. I've checked all input/output settings, reinstalled drivers for both Bluetooth and sound, and even reinstalled Windows, but nothing has fixed the problem. Anyone have a solution?
Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system information. Check if the headset shows up in Device Manager, whether other headsets function properly on your machine, and if it works across different computers. Review any audio or Bluetooth error codes, warnings, or messages in the Reliability History or Monitor. Use "dism" and "sfc /scannow" to locate and resolve corrupted files.
