Hi, I experienced a similar situation a while back and decided to try Crysis 2. It was downloaded through Origin, so I expected everything to work smoothly, but I’m not hearing any sound. I’m using the Razer Kraken 7.1 headset and don’t have an external sound card. Could anyone suggest a solution to restore audio in the game? Thanks ahead of time!

Yes, Nostalgic and Crysis 2 can work well together. Both games evoke a sense of nostalgia, blending retro aesthetics with modern gameplay.

Consider checking compatibility settings first. Often the issue stems from this mode, which can resolve playback problems.

Locate the game directory and use the corresponding executable file.

Sorry for the delayed reply, I wasn't able to test until now. I checked all available compatibility settings and only got decent audio on Windows XP, but just in the main menu. When I restarted the game, the sound disappeared while the loading screen appeared, and there was no audio during play. Any suggestions?

I'm ready to give it a shot. No prior experience with this, but I'll do my best. Thanks for reaching out!
