I'm working with an older CPU and have been having trouble getting it to boot. I've upgraded the motherboard and added more RAM, but the system still won't start. The GPU is fine, and the fans are spinning once without any beep. It seems the board might be damaged or outdated. I've tried several fixes and checked everything online, but nothing seems to help. I'm unsure if the BIOS update was successful or if I need to replace parts.

Hello there! It seems the problem might lie with the processor. Could you share when the last time it functioned properly be? Where was it kept?

I've been considering this. The CPU had been running for 8 months before being placed in a case. The motherboard I originally used suddenly stopped functioning unpredictably and wouldn't get power. It took some time to find a replacement.
