Hello! Your setup looks solid for gaming with that AMD A8 6500 GTX 960. The 960 card can handle older titles at decent speeds, especially with high settings and 1080p. Your performance should be comparable to what you see on YouTube, though it might feel a bit slower than newer cards. Just keep in mind that older hardware will naturally lag behind modern systems.

The bottleneck won't affect any GPU produced in the past decade. GTA5 demands more processing power from its CPU.

I believe the CPU is insufficient. You're likely to achieve around 30-40 frames per second.

Looking for the most affordable AMD CPU to prevent performance issues? The best option depends on your system needs, but budget models like the Ryzen 3 or older generations often work well without bottlenecks. Check compatibility with your motherboard if you have one in mind.

I prefer the classic versions instead of the latest releases.

Previously released titles are outdated, struggle to hit over 60fps, and rarely reach 90-100 frames per second.

The AM3 platform didn’t perform well over time, and the FX series CPUs were problematic at launch and even more so now. If you need to switch to AMD, choose AM4 instead.

It's even worse because it's employing FM2.

The motherboard isn't compatible with modern components. It wouldn't be a good investment; consider spending a little more for something up-to-date. My girlfriend uses a GTX 970 and Ryzen 3 2200G, which isn't powerful enough for anything advanced. A budget Ryzen CPU on a budget B450 board would work fine, and a GTX 960 would have been perfect.
