I play at either 1080p or 1440p when the GPU is active, with a 2-monitor configuration. My GPU is an RX 5700. I’m sure I won’t really notice any CPU differences in regular use, but it’s still around 30€. My main concern is that upgrading to a 5800x might increase the noise level because of its higher TDP, more power consumption, and increased fan speed. I’m just worried about that higher TDP.
A key consideration comes up—what motherboard is best? The 5700X works better with the VRM.
