It worked after the motherboard rebooted again. This happened before switching from the 3600 to the 5800X, when I was stuck at BIOS F63 and didn’t want to use the 5800X. After downgrading to F62 (both F63 and F65e also couldn’t post; the latest version that worked was F62), everything functioned perfectly for a few months. Since I sold the 3600, I can’t go back down. I’m wondering if Gigabyte made a mistake with the F63 support.

Updated the BIOS to F62 and it now supports the 5800X. Tested another AORUS B450 Elite V1, which also faced the same issue—could be related to Gigabyte components.

It's reassuring that it turned out okay. It highlights the importance of having solid reasons before updating BIOS. I had to replace my Asus Z97 board because I tried to fix a problem with the newest BIOS, but after the update it kept failing to boot. Now every BIOS change feels a bit stressful.
