I’ve completely wiped my PC twice and am curious about the results. I’ve used around 80 gigabytes already, but only downloaded Valorant and Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Could anyone assist me with this? Do I really need further help?

Windows requires 25-30GB of space, and additional software can add more. Updates and drivers may also increase usage.

When hibernation is turned on, Windows generates a file (hiberfil.sys) matching the amount of physical RAM. With 16 gigabytes of RAM, this file equals 16 gigabytes. This ensures sufficient storage capacity to save all RAM data to disk during hibernation. Disabling hibernation also deletes this file. You can access the control settings via the menu or execute the command: powercfg /hibernate off

You can browse the categories to get a clearer picture of space usage. A 30 GB allocation seems to be primarily for Windows and the updates it requires.

Windows 11, when installed, will also adjust your pagefile.sys to three times the amount of RAM available. For details on Windows files and sizes, you can use a tool like WizTree.

Everything appears normal. Click "System & reserved" for additional information. Windows uses about 13GB of reserved space, with roughly 7.3GB available for updates. Virtual Memory (pagefile) should be around 19GB for a system with 32GB RAM. Hibernation space depends on Fast Startup usage, and System Restore also varies to help revert changes if needed. You have a 1TB drive with ample free space. What’s your main issue?
