You have an i5 7500, GTX 1050 Ti, and 8GB 2133 RAM. You're thinking about upgrading your motherboard, GPU, and RAM. For the GPU, you're considering either an RTX 580 or RTX 5700 based on your budget. Regarding RAM, you were planning for more memory but are now weighing whether to buy 16GB at a higher speed or stick with 8GB. Is this decision justified?

Which processor are you considering? For instance, AMD requires quick RAM and you should check models above 3000 MHz, preferably 3200 or 3600 MHz. I’m not sure about Intel, but the 2133 tends to be a bit sluggish.
