Hello everyone, I'm currently experimenting with overclocking my i7 10700KF and have a few queries. 1. Can 2 hours of OCCT with medium data provide stable results? 2. Should I choose medium, small, or large data during testing? 3. What is the highest temperature I shouldn't exceed while running OCCT with this CPU? 4. Are there more effective stress tests besides prime95, which is too extreme? My cooling solution is an AIO Arctic liquid freezer. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I believe no one test can confirm stability since each load affects the CPU uniquely. Prime95 works perfectly, using regular instructions without any unusual behavior. I’d likely run it as the primary system only if there are unusual problems.

It might be reliable, even after small FFT tests didn't cause failure. There could still be crashes under different tasks, especially with changing CPU demands. The toughest part to evaluate is how the system reacts during short-term spikes, like when CPU usage shifts even without full utilization. Keep using your PC and watch for any problems.

I’ll keep running past two hours, but then you’ll need to switch things up with other tasks like games and whatever else you’d like to do.

My personal view is if it performs well under realbench conditions for a few hours, handles everything smoothly without issues, and stays stable for your intended use, it's okay.

I need a stable setup that won’t fail during gaming. It crashed after 45 minutes of OCCT. When I increased the voltage and restarted, it crashed again in seconds. I adjusted frequency and rings but still experienced frequent crashes. I’m aiming for 5GHz with voltages between 1300 and 1350v, but I can’t run stress tests anymore. I’m still comfortable with overclocking, though I’ve seen many YouTube tutorials with different approaches.

However, it didn’t cause frequent crashes during gameplay. A 4.2ghz setting led to crashes within a week, making it less stable overall. A 4.1ghz setting resulted in crashes roughly every three weeks, and reaching 4.0ghz provided solid stability but was still too high for my needs. Overall, it shows the limitations of the processor despite its performance.
