I noticed Linus recommended visiting this location. www.ninite.com I’m curious—had anyone tried it before? Would it be worthwhile? Plus, could you recommend some useful files to save?

You don't have to ask that question—it will save you a lot of time during a fresh Windows installation.

Reviewing the items I’d normally add to Ninite, I’d definitely pick it up. My setup would include Chrome, MSE, Malwarebytes, Python, JDK 8, Skype, Google Drive, VLC, foobar2000, 7-Zip, Adobe Reader, Steam and all the necessary tools. Installing them one by one would be tedious. Unfortunately, even with that list, there’d still be a few programs I wouldn’t find in Ninite. Since it’s a batch installer, just check the list—if at least two items catch your eye, go for it.

The list you provided seems to be accurate. I reviewed it before and matched most of the items you mentioned.
