I brought the updated model with a single satellite speaker. The router displayed orange light versus blue light for the satellite. The MAC address began with a 10, which the ISP technician explained was "acting like a bridge." The connection originates from the external ISP's modem to this router. There’s a post here about changing the DNS server. I made that change, but it didn’t help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Did you restart all components? What is the ISP model you have? Is it changing the DNS settings itself? I noticed that discussion on the Netgear forum. It’s unclear how a DNS adjustment could have triggered the problem. I’m curious about the default features of the MR60.

Power was switched on and factory settings restored, but nothing happened.
2. The device is installed externally. Technicians there claim it isn’t interfering with anything. However, the MR60’s MAC address appears unusual even to them.
3. I’m currently using a different Nighthawk router, which functions perfectly. It seems to work out of the box. Curious about getting another unit and testing its performance.

Is that an internet gateway or simple modem? What type of internet is this? And you're sure you plugged the ethernet cable from the ISP device to the internet port of the MR60? What does the Nighthawk app report? If you have a gateway device and its LAN DHCP server is working, this might conflict with what the MR60 is trying to do.

1. Fiber optic cable from Northstate.
2. Yes. No connection was made to the Ethernet side during setup.
3. The app indicates it located the router, but there’s no internet access. I can’t reach the modem from Northstate; it seems the technician is correct. As mentioned earlier, the other Nighthawk router is working fine, while the one I’m using now isn’t.
