Nier Automata running at approximately 20 frames per second – what am I doing incorrectly?
I recently acquired a new computer featuring fairly standard components:
Processor: i7-8700 @ 3.2GHz
Memory: 16GB RAM
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM
- Driver Version 417.22
Motherboard: ASUSTeK TUF H370-PRO
A game I was particularly eager to experience was Nier: Automata, however, I'm only achieving around 20 frames per second at a resolution of 1024x768 after significantly reducing the graphical settings. I believe there might be an underlying issue beyond just hardware specifications, perhaps related to how my PC manages its graphics processing, but I’m unsure how to troubleshoot this. Could someone offer guidance? Thank you in advance.
Also, I run Windows 10 for gaming purposes.
Does your display connect directly to your computer’s motherboard or graphics card? It should be connected to the graphics card; this refers to integrated graphics processing.
