Begin the game normally, but after the intro it pauses briefly before displaying a GPU requirement error. You have a 1070 and only 512MB of VRAM. Consider upgrading your graphics card or checking system compatibility.

I understood it, but I won't spend my $30.

Can you try playing it? Your low-end card ran at just 10 frames per second even with the weakest options.

MW 2012 likely requires a GTX 970, since I expect performance issues if I use a lower graphics card.

The issue arises because the game is displaying a DX error.

Since the original paid $30 for a game priced at $9.99, it seems the purchase was likely delayed beyond Origin’s standard 7-day refund period. He probably already owns the game and isn’t bothered by NFS: Rivals, so repeatedly urging refunds won’t help. Many users face similar problems with Intel iGPUs. Do you also have your graphics driver installed? Also, is the monitor connected to the 1070 or the motherboard? If not, try repairing the game files via Origin, reinstalling it, updating your Nvidia drivers, and ensuring the HD 5450 drivers are fully updated. Unfortunately, there aren’t many straightforward solutions on Google.

All your requests have been handled. I used DDU prior to setting up the 1070 and its drivers. I've also reinstalled Windows multiple times before updating the 5450.
