Newly set up Windows 10 needs help relocating the user account.
You won't be able to proceed directly. First boot into Windows 10 on your SSD, create an account there, and configure it fresh. What you can do is manually move your data between accounts. Regarding program settings: software configurations are stored in the registry at (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\<program or company>\) or in C:\Users\<account name>\AppData (hidden folder)\Roaming\<Program or Company name>. To access the registry, open it and export one program at a time on your HDD. Then switch to Windows 10 on your SSD, double-click the exported files, or import them after closing all programs. For AppData folders, create a new directory elsewhere, copy the contents, and rename it as desired. Transfer these to your account under its own AppData\Roaming folder on the SSD. Avoid moving the entire AppData\Roaming directory at once. For personal files, treat them like AppData—move them to another location outside the drive, switch OS, and re-upload. Be cautious: technically you can jump folders between Windows, but Windows will prompt permission changes when accessing accounts on different drives. Clicking "Continue" updates permissions, which may break your account if you switch drives. The same applies in reverse. Proceed only if certain. Warning: If your files are encrypted, decrypt them first or export the encryption certificate to import it into the other OS account. Without a backup of your certificate, losing access means losing data. If no files were encrypted, you're safe.
