Newly constructed system, items to verify
I just assembled a new system and wanted to verify everything is functioning properly. The only modification I made in the BIOS was enabling XMP for the memory. I haven’t installed a graphics card yet, relying on the built-in one temporarily. I’m keeping an eye on the upcoming major update.
The Cinebench multicore test returned a score of 1097, with peak temperatures reaching about 71°C. Idle temps were around 22°C. The room temperature is currently 19°C, which feels cooler, especially during winter.
There’s an issue with one of the case fans—it doesn’t spin up immediately and only starts after a minute or two. I reached out to Lian Li, who is sending me a replacement fan.
Here are the build details:

You are currently using BIOS version F2, but the most recent update is F21a. You can access the support page for further details at the provided link.
Unless you are having issues, I don't know that I would bother to flash the bios.
Common wisdom is to so only if it contains a fix that is impacting you.
OTOH, you are so early in the build process that a flash failure will not impact you.
Ryzen is very sensitive to ram.
One test I would do is to run memtest for at least one full pass with NO errors.
For the latest update it mentioned a possible UEFI issue. I installed it without any problems. I plan to perform a memtest. On CPU-Z under the memory section for the channel, it displays 2 x32-bit. After some research, I expect 4 x32-bit for dual-channel setup. If that’s the situation, why isn’t it showing this? I have the RAM correctly installed in the motherboard slots.
