I've attempted to reinstall Windows and run standard tools like sfc /scannow, but the problems continued. What should I focus on next? I thought it might be related to RAM, so I tried downclocking, but that didn’t help either. I don’t have any additional DDR5 memory available for testing. The PC freezes frequently, especially while gaming, but from what I understand, that’s mainly because I’m using it for those tasks. It also freezes during regular internet browsing and schoolwork, even when the load is light.

The freezing happens completely, sometimes pausing for a few seconds before fully locking up. The only solution seems to be a hard reboot. Another strange occurrence I’ve observed is that at random moments, with no input from me, the screen will suddenly zoom out like a multi-desktop feature, then return as if nothing happened. This can happen while gaming or even when I’m not interacting with the keyboard or mouse while watching videos.

Lastly, it takes an unusually long time to POST. After changing the initialization settings in the BIOS, it still takes about two minutes to fully boot, and it doesn’t seem to cycle through different BIOS configurations.

Bios version 7D78v17 was installed alongside these hardware components.
Monitor the temperatures to identify potential issues.
Visit userbenchmark.com and share the result link, such as https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730.
Reset the BIOS using a jumper, CLR CMOS or JBAT, then adjust boot priority accordingly.
Verify Windows integrity by opening Command Prompt as Administrator and executing DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.
Access instructions at https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-open-an-...pt-2618088 and https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...em...5b60477a93.
Perform a clean boot to help diagnose the problem in Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista.
