You should check your system performance and consider upgrading if needed. With 4GB DDR3 RAM, adding another 4GB DDR3 might help, but installing a graphics card could be more effective for gaming. Assess your usage and test improvements before deciding.

You can check your system's RAM usage during gaming or browsing using MSI Afterburner and its monitoring features. This helps determine if you're hitting your capacity. 4GB is relatively limited; having 8GB or more would improve multitasking and support for newer titles. If you lack a GPU, performance issues will likely stem from that component rather than RAM. Unless you're considering a new graphics card, it's important to know what you currently have. A detailed list of your PC specifications would be helpful.

AMD A6-7400K RADEON R5 features 6 compute cores (2 CPUs), runs at ~3.5GHz, comes with 4GB DDR3 RAM, and includes a 480GB internal drive. It’s powered by an Xtech 700W PSU with 20+4 pin connectors. These are the only options available right now.

All components are affecting your frame rate negatively. Increasing memory usage might provide some improvement. Consider adding an extra 8GB of RAM.

It’s a pretty basic setup. Upgrading the graphics card and increasing RAM would help, but overall it wouldn’t make a big difference for gaming.

Yes, adding more RAM can still be beneficial even if your current RAM is only 4GB. It may improve performance and support future upgrades.

If your motherboard features available ports, it's fine

I understand you need more memory for smoother performance. This tool helps with that.
