Hey there, just bought a 6700K and was thinking about switching to a Z170 motherboard for overclocking. I'm looking for solid Z170 mATX or ATX options with M.2 slots, but without breaking the bank. Need suggestions for affordable ones in Australia. TIA.

It's going to be tough to locate a Z170 or Z270 motherboard in stock. They've been phased out for a long time, with manufacturers ceasing production after the introduction of Z370 and Z390 models. The situation is even worse with the arrival of Z490, which has effectively ended demand for these older boards. You may need to search local markets or consider purchasing from international sources like eBay.

I don’t have real-time access to local inventory or ordering options for Z170 boards. However, you can explore availability by checking online retailers, local gaming stores, or contacting distributors in your area. If you’re interested in the ASUS ROG Z170 Maximus VIII Hero, it’s worth reaching out to authorized sellers or forums for recommendations on where to purchase.
