When you purchased a new MB and M.2, did you mount your previous SSD on the new drive? Were you using the old SSD for installation in the BIOS, and did you enable TPM during setup?

We didn't enable TPM, but we did wipe the SSD before installing a new one. That shouldn't cause any problems since Windows would just place the older OS in a separate folder.

Additionally, I realized that after several attempts, it would indicate placing the previous files into the Windows folder of the old operating system, suggesting the installation was successful but there was no way to boot the computer.

Running Windows 11 requires TPM. The setup will stop if your system doesn’t satisfy the condition. When wiping your SSD, also delete any volume that holds the EFI folder (the UEFI).

Windows 11 relies on the TPM chip built into the motherboard to produce encryption keys. This feature must be activated for the installation to succeed. The process varies based on your setup—during a clean install it often overrides the previous version. If the storage is empty and you choose the upgrade option instead of a custom setup, it may attempt to generate a restore point for an OS version that doesn’t yet exist on the drive.
