More than one person said that the update broke their laptop's Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB SSD performance. It looks like this problem only affects this specific kind of Adata SSD. hmmm... Windows or ADATA? "As usual with these issues, it seems just a few people are getting into trouble." As is the case with every operating system update, in the history of ever.

The only thing I'm sure of is the part about Local Security Authorities. I don't really care much for this "Bing Discover" bubble in Edge either. I think that, based on feedback I've seen online from various places, they might end up making it optional.

You can't expect a few weeks. It's going to wait forever, so it'll just start now instead of hanging around.

Yes, that's right. It will eventually get updated. There is still some time left before the end, so maybe ms will release a fix at a later date.

I actually have that new stuff working fine on both my Windows 11 computers. It's really smooth though, except I don't have any ADATA hard drives to show off! 🤔

XPG is mentioned, but you should look into Event Viewer instead. There are many reports on Reddit about this update where the security application (TPM) starts working when it seems like a Faulting application name shows SecurityHealthService.exe and the version is 10.0.22621.900 with a timestamp of 0x45a7fb3f

Yeah, weird because they only targeted ADATA. The fact that Microsoft is fixing it means it's a problem with Microsoft, not ADATA's. They already found one of the reasons and are working on an update. Not sure if this just happened to ADATA or if it affects everything.

I checked my system logs back a few days ago trying to fix an SSD problem. The storage controller showed that the connection was turning off and on 125 times every second. Nothing in the log said there were any errors, just normal pauses and starts happening all the time. I guessed it might be because of a bad update from Microsoft for the AMD power driver.
