I just put the new TP-Link TG-3468 Gigabit Network Adapter into my PC. Internet performance dropped significantly. Current connection is capped at 10.0Mbps, while my usual speeds are 100Mbps download and 50Mbps upload. This is what I’m getting for Optic Fiber. Note: My router can handle gigabit connections, my ISP provides the correct rate, I’ve tested various cables, I understand the difference between megabytes and megabits, the issue only appears with the external adapter, but it works fine on the built-in one. Thanks for the latest drivers!

It seems like the network card isn't working well. I've faced issues with some older Realtek Gigabit adapters before.

I discovered a low-speed switch built into my wall, which forced me to create a new cable directly from my router to my PC. The installers who connected my apartment to the cabling were just ordinary civil engineers without any network expertise. In short, incompetent individuals shouldn't handle network setups inside walls. Problem solved! Thanks for your responses.
