Im assuming he needs a case.
Also, $10 more than the cx750m is a seasonic focus 750w gold, which is better.
Also a crucial p1 1tb is $5 more than a mx500. Id go crucial p1

A detailed list of computer components has been generated using PCPartPicker, including a CPU, motherboard, memory, storage devices, a video card, and a power supply. The total cost with shipping and discounts is $1168.92. This list was automatically created to ensure compatibility and optimize performance for a gaming or high-performance computing setup.

Thank you guys for all the replies, I took some advice from almost all of you and this is what I came up with in the end. A bit over my budget but from what I've heard it should last me a long time at least. Let me know what you guys think or if I should change/improve anything
CPU:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard:
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory:
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Storage:
Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card:
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card
Case:
Fractal Design Focus G ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply:
SeaSonic FOCUS Gold 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply
Keyboard:
Corsair K68 Wired Gaming Keyboard

, I was conflicted between the 3700X or the 3600X, decided on the 3600X simply for budget. I will also be running at 1080p and not 1440p so hopefully the build should be more than enough to support my current needs.
Before I make any rash decisions though, what is a better option: 3700X and a RTX2060 or 3600X and RTX2070?

For gaming, 3600x and 2070 super.
The faster 3600mhz ram i included may improve performance and is cheaper
