Hello, after using my custom-built computer for six months, I've decided it's possible to overclock it for improved performance. Since I'm new to this process, I'm seeking guidance on doing it safely and simply. My current specifications are:

Intel Core i7-5820k 6-Core
Cool Master CPU cooler
ASUS x99 Sabertooth
G SKILL Ripjaws 16gb (2x8) DDR4
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" Hard Drive
MSI GeForce GTX 980 GPU
NZXT Source 210 ATX Mid-Tower Case
EVGA 80+ GOLD 750W Fully Modular PSU

first off read the stickies, then come back for help. Not being difficult, there is a very good reason for this.
