(Here's the build for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/G9428r ) Hi everyone!!! I'm built my brand new PC yesterday, but for some reason the RGB fans won't decide to spin on the PC case itself. The fans are plugged into the PSU and not the motherboard because there's no slot on the motherboard for all of the fans that came with my case. I checked the BIOS setup screen, and they're detected but not spinning. I can see they're at 0RPM. I would love some help!!! Thank you!!!

I noticed an empty fan port on the CPU, and a fan splitter could help. Your board has three fan headers excluding the CPU fan. You can connect a splitter to one of them to fix the issue.

Is the fan slot empty? I can help locate it. Also, what is a fan splitter?

The end of the fan cables features connectors such as headers on the motherboard. The case indicates it includes DC fans, which are typically 3-pin, though they can also fit into the 4-pin headers. You’ll need to adjust the fan control settings in BIOS from auto or PWM mode to DC if the fans aren’t functioning properly after installation.

There's 4 on that board (including the one dedicated for the CPU fan) EDIT: missed one at the bottom. You don't need any fan splitters for this system, you've got just enough headers A fan splitter is exactly what it sounds like, it takes one fan header and splits it into 2-3 fan headers. Something like these would work perfectly https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-2-P...1439&psc=1 Edited June 6, 2022 by RONOTHAN##

Is it possible for the ARGB to work but not the fan? My PSU guide told me that the PC case fans would work if they were plugged into the PSU. And how does a 3 pin fan fit into a 4 pin slot? Also in my BIOS, there's no fan control for DC ;-; What should I do?

The voltage in that menu is DC. It adjusts the fan speed by sending more or less power, ensuring they work properly since they match a 4-pin header with one fewer wire. They need the correct connector to fit. Can we view the fan connectors?

Yes! It's a 3-pin device, but your motherboard has 4-pin connectors. I'm not sure if it will work properly ;-;

Yes, they're run off two different circuits and don't actually have anything to do with each other (not the case on single color fans). Like this (ignore the dust, I need to clean this system) That's a different type of 3 pin header, that one is dedicated for RGB. There should be one like the one in my photo

For the RGB settings, not the fan speed. A second wire should be included. Otherwise, you can connect them to the case as before and use the button for control, or plug them into the two headers marked 6 in the picture I sent. You need to go outside. Good luck!
