New stuff coming in for FiveM right now.
The cable comes from the company, and it has a label. Yes, I have two LAN ports: one is for lan 1 at 1000 Mbps max, and the other is for lan 2 at 150 Mbps. The test results look okay on paper, but my devices keep giving me errors on channels 1 through 24 downstream.
Swap the wires and see if the speed changes. Move the LAN1 wire to LAN2, then swap it back. Does the connection go faster on one side or does it stick to a specific port no matter how you twist the ends?
Are all devices plugged into Lan Port 1 getting full speed, like 1000 Mbps? What about Lan Ports 2, 3, and 4? They seem to only get up to 150 Mbps even if no other stuff is connected there. Does the cable change this? If I use a different cable for Port 1 but not Port 2, does Port 2 stay slow because of the cable type instead of just having too many devices?
In the TCG300 specs, it says "Multiple Client Support: 254 (router) 32 (Bridge)." That number of 32 seems low when I have way more than that. Maybe this limit is caused by problems on Channels 1 through 24? I don't know why and won't guess.
I really need help figuring out how performance works here with so many users, especially if there are over 75 people using it. Some of the TCG docs look confusing because they aren't in English or hard to understand. What else should I try?
So Lan 1 gives me 1000Mbs but my internet package is only 400Mbs. When I use LAN 2, I only get about 150Mbs. My speed test shows real speeds around 375Mbs while the game has way more than 75 players online. Daytime work fine with 50 to 70 people but at night things start flickering even for me and the AI. My router isn't fast enough right now. I don't know what to do because neither I nor my company knows why. I'm thinking about switching providers if a new router helps. If it was a hardware problem, this would happen every time.
