Hello, I recently purchased a new SSD and intend to use it solely for Windows. I have a question: will Windows 10 recognize my HDD, which contains personal data and some games? My current Windows is installed on a different drive, while the other drive holds everything else.

Yes. But disabling the SATA ports for the HDD and replacing it with a fresh SSD works too. Once you're in Windows, you can remove the HDD's windows and the boot partition. You'll need to reinstall the games. Certain Steam titles may function if you simply switch them to a Steam library.

Your system has its own Windows partition. That means you can easily create a cloned SSD version. There are many discussions on this forum about it.
