There is no orange Q-LED, so which of the four is it?
From top to bottom:
1) CPU - red
2) DRAM - yellow
3) VGA - white
4) Boot - yellow green
If it's the first one, then either your CPU or motherboard is dead.
Second one suggests DRAM (did you test just a single stick in A1?) or motherboard.
Third one points to CPU or motherboard (since you didn't try with a video card).
Last one should be confirmed, so I assume this isn't it at all.

Ah, it must be yellow then - it's a bit hard to tell. The CPU was taken from my previous build which always worked perfectly, and was handled carefully throughout the move. When I reseated it, I also checked the pins on the CPU and the socket, and everything looked fine.
I tried all 4 sticks individually in A1, and then all in A2, so I'm pretty sure I tried every configuration.
I've heard there are issues with ASUS motherboards, so I've filed an RMA case, but I was just checking if there was anything else I could look into in the meantime.

You addressed every aspect, and with two kits I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be your DRAM, especially since the CPU functioned properly.

Absolutely, I understand. My feelings are the same. I'll just have to keep an eye on what they say.

Have you attempted it without a disk connected?

I've attempted using the regular SSD, but not the M.2 ones.
