Mainly a project I'm assembling for a friend. All components are brand new. It's a fresh setup of Windows 11 Pro, with all drivers up to date. The screen occasionally goes black for about 10 to 20 seconds every couple of minutes before returning to normal. I thought it might be driver-related since I hadn't installed the graphics driver yet. Then I added Adrenalin using the latest driver, but it started blacking out again, showing an error about the AMD Display Driver Timed Out. I tried further testing, noting that it doesn't time out during web browsing, software installation, or idle use. If it's just basic tasks like browsing or running drivers, it seems to freeze. I've looked into possible solutions, but most fixes seem inconsistent and not widely effective. Here’s a summary of what I attempted without success:

- Changed DDU settings to disable Windows Update during driver installs.
- Reinstalled Windows 11 with manual driver updates only.
- Enabled XMP settings and overclocked memory using Memtest86 and WMD.
- Turned off MPO in the registry.
- Switched monitors and cables.
- Disabled Fast Startup and set power plan to High Performance.
- Used 4G decoding and resizable bar features.

If you can help, any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ahead.

Received a new Windows 10 update instead of 11 based on AMD forum advice. It didn’t function properly. Verified the GPU performance on my test rig, which also failed. Ultimately, they sent it back and requested a different model, 7800XT.
