I'm facing issues with volume balance and enhancement settings. Previously, I used an ASUS X-99a board with Realtek jacks. Now I have an MSI 790 carbon running RealTek USB audio on Windows 10. The sound still comes through the USB ports but not via the original jacks. I've checked driver updates but nothing fixed it. I'm considering a replacement audio card if that's an option. Loudness equalization has been my default for about a decade, and I'm stuck with inconsistent volume levels.

Download Realtek Audio Console via the Windows app store. Alternatively, try Voicemeeter Banana or Equaliser APO.

The Realtek audio console offered loudness equalization, though its performance was limited. It seemed odd since your drivers are Realtek and your older system already had the default enhancement settings. A good sound card might be able to improve this.
