I successfully gathered all the components for my latest project. Refer to the specifications in my profile. I set up a Windows 7 x64 bootable USB on my existing machine and began the setup. During installation, I encountered an error indicating missing or corrupt files (0x80070570). I attempted to download a fresh ISO and used another USB drive, but the issue persists. Worse still, my old system, which has been struggling lately, won’t power up. What’s going on? The UEFI setup and clean installation are unclear to me. I only have my phone and a bootable Windows 7 USB stick. I’m really unsure what’s wrong and need guidance.

It could be that the installer is damaged. Are you referring to the issue where your previous setup fails to start after creating the ISO?

You're using an iPhone with a UEFI-based motherboard. It can be confusing, but Windows can still be installed on such systems. The process involves using tools like Rufus or Windows USB installer to create a bootable USB drive and then connecting it to your iPhone via USB. Make sure your device is compatible with the UEFI firmware version.

I've experimented with various ISO files but they still don't function properly. On the old PC, it would randomly fail to power on or would take a long time to start. Sometimes it works fine, other times it doesn't. It seems like this issue has returned after creating multiple bootable USB drives.

Consider using a CD. It might indicate an issue with your USB ports, though that seems very improbable.

I encountered an issue before, but it was easy to resolve. Try these actions: Go to the "Install now" section as usual, then follow the prompts carefully. If you hit a problem, click cancel without restarting. Keep repeating step 1 until it completes. Also, turn off secure boot and switch on legacy booting, because Windows 7 doesn’t support UEFI.

Are you using the same OS you designed the USB Flash Drive installer for on a 64-bit version of Windows 7? The bootloader you transfer to the drive is tailored for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems. It’s important to note that you cannot generate a 64-bit Windows Installer USB for a 32-bit operating system.

Have you attempted just pressing the cancel option and trying to reinstall without restarting?

I built it for a 32-bit platform but I installed bootsect.exe which Microsoft recommends for creating such bootable drives.
