New Setup - Computer Fails to Upload
I'm assisting my nephew in assembling his initial computer. All components are brand new except the GPU. I've assembled several of my own PCs previously, so I'm familiar with the process but not an expert. The part number for the Asus Tuf Gaming Z790 is 90MB1D80-MVAAY0. RAM is Corsair DDR5 6400 MHz with two 16GB modules (CMH32GX5M2B6400C36). The PSU is Corsair RM 1000, paired with an I5 14600K processor and storage from Samsung 970 EVO Plus. The motherboard connects via HDMI to the GPU instead of the motherboard, and we've tested various GPU outputs. All cables on both the motherboard and GPU have been reconnected. I'm seeking suggestions if swapping RAM or using a 13th generation CPU resolves the issue before returning the motherboard. The documentation states the board was made in February 2025, suggesting it likely includes BIOS support for a 14th generation chip.
