Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max CPU - Ryzen 5 5600 I recently purchased new RAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB, 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz C16 White). PC starts, fans activate but no display output or audio. No windows sound detected. Attempted both RAM in the slots provided by the motherboard; single unit failed to boot. Replacing old RAM resolves the issue. (Corsair Vengeance DDR4 4GB x2 at 3000mhz). All RAM functions correctly. Red EZ Debug light appears on the motherboard. Any suggestions?

Remove the CMOS battery first, then reinstall it. If that doesn’t work, update the BIOS using the old RAM. If the new RAM still fails, return it.

Thank you for the update. I removed the battery, gave the power button a quick press, waited a short while, swapped the battery, and tried using one stick in B2 – it worked. Then I booted again, unplugged everything, put the second RAM in A2, and it started successfully. I saved the settings and reconnected all cables. It’s currently functioning properly.
