New Ram, PC isn't posting and I lost access to Windows 11 Pro after a RAM change. I reinstalled the previous RAM and set up as a local user. Any chance to resolve this? I don't recall my user info to update the PIN for my Windows account. Hardware: MSI B550 Tomahawk, CPU Ryzen 5 5600X, 32GB G.Skill Trident Z.

Following Microsoft's actions doesn't seem to function properly. It appears there might be some confusion. You're able to reset your password or PIN using your local account, just need the email you registered with.

Windows shouldn't prevent access due to RAM replacement. If your pin is no longer valid, switch to your local account to turn off the restriction for Microsoft accounts, allowing you to log in using your password and reset the pin.

I’d be happy to assist you with that. Where exactly are you looking for this setting?

If you have Windows 11 pro it has to be there (in Sign-in options). I can see it right now on my computer. Unless your local account is not administrator (then you won't have the permission to disable that so the option won't appear). If your local account is not admin there's very little you can do.
