Hello, I have a single stick RAM in my PC. It’s the Ballistix Sport LT Gray 3000 MHz 8 GB C15. I’m thinking about getting another stick to reach 16 GB, but I can’t find the same model online. If I buy a RAM stick with matching specifications, would it work? I found one from the same brand, but the model looks different.

This should function technically, but RAM modules vary even with identical MHz and CL or brand. If you plan to purchase the same RAM, consider returning it for a refund if it doesn’t perform as expected.

Under the same pace and timing assumptions, it should function as expected.

I reviewed many videos and articles suggesting it could be effective, particularly with an Intel processor on your computer. However, I remain uncertain about its success since returning it might not be feasible. Have you encountered similar issues before?
