I believe there might be an issue with the connection. I installed the new CPU and motherboard into the card box but it doesn’t show any activity. I connected both 24-pin and 8-pin headers, but when I short the power button pins, nothing happens. There’s no fan speed increase or any other response. Can you assist further?

Someone has experience with this. They changed the PSU and it worked just fine a short time ago on another motherboard.

I think the motherboard might be dead or the pins were connected incorrectly. Unfortunately, I don’t have any helpful tips since I don’t have solid options.

I would have expressed the same idea as GoldenLag. Either it's a DOA board or the incorrect pins were connected and it became a DOA board.

Yeah. You need to short pins that arent on the motherboard to make that happen. I cabt think of. Single pin on the motherboard that could deliver that much voltage or amperage and cause such damage as killing the board.
