New PSU Needed
New PSU Needed
Here’s the updated version:
I’ve got the following configuration:
ASRock B850M Pro RS Micro-ATX AM5 Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
PowerColor Hellhound AMD RadeonRX 9060 XT 8GB
The graphics card indicates it recommends a 550W power supply. Taking all factors into account, I believe a 650-750W unit would be suitable, wouldn’t you think?
I’m aiming for something affordable but not overly expensive. Modularity is important, though if that’s too costly, I’ll opt for a semi-modular setup.
I’ve tried Corsair, Thermalright, Seasonic, Antec and others before. I’m still unsure about the best balance of price and performance.
I’m located in the USA. Please keep it under $100 if possible.
The recommended power supply is the SeaSonic CORE GX ATX 3 (2024) 750 W, Gold Certified, fully modular ATX model. It costs $89.99 on Amazon and meets all requirements. Alternative options are available for those seeking improved performance. Details can be found here:
The recommended options align with the expectations set previously. For the 750W model, consider the review linked here: If you seek an upgraded alternative, the Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 is also available. Both selections match the required specifications and brand standards.

Unless you're familiar with something I don't know, I'd steer clear of Montech in the US. They lack a warranty fulfillment center there, meaning any issues with their products would need to be shipped to Taiwan. It's really tough for me to suggest items, even if they're excellent, since replacements can't be made within the US if the buyer is there. That's just one of my concerns.
This Seasonic really stands out. Their sheathed cables are also appealing. It doesn't look like they're connected together or in a tube. (Does that make sense?)
I'm open to other choices, but I might stick with this one.
