New Product - No Bootable Device Included
Hello,
I just completed a full build with water cooling and everything is working perfectly. This is the first time it's happened to me. I've been attempting to install Windows, but each time I power on the PC, it only reaches BIOS and displays "No Bootable Device Found." As you can see in the attached photo, all drives are listed. I also searched online and YouTube, but didn't find a solution for this issue. Here are my PC specifications:
- CPU: Intel Core i9 13900K
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 AORUS Pro X Wifi7
- RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64 GB DDR5-6400
- Main OS Drive: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 (two units)
- Storage: Silicon Power A55 2 TB SSD
- GPU: Gigabyte 3090 AORUS Extreme Water Force 3090 Ti
- Power Supply: SeaSonic Prime Gold 1000 Watts Gold Certified
You can view the details via the link provided.
BIOS version for your motherboard is being checked. Please remove all drives except the one you plan to install the operating system on. Regarding installers, I'm looking into where you obtained the OS installer.
For the graphics card, it's a Gigabyte 3090 AORUS Extreme Water Force 3090 Ti. The power supply is a SeaSonic Prime Gold 1000 Watts, Gold Certified. The RTX 3000 series experienced high transient load spikes; users were recommended to overprovision their PSU's capacity or upgrade to at least a 1.2KW unit.
The Mobo definitely requires a BIOS update. I plan to install it once I finish setting up Windows Installation. I considered using a USB Windows 11 flash drive for the new install, but since I successfully completed the installation with a Windows 10 USB installer, I’m not sure why that worked. Now Windows is handling the install smoothly, but I’m still unsure about the issue with the Windows 11 flash drive. I’ll treat this as a fix now, but I’ll still update the BIOS. Thanks!
Modify bios then proceed with an upgrade from version 10 to 11.
