The setup is straightforward—just swapped the CPU and everything seems to be working. But when I power on again, nothing responds despite fans spinning and RGB lights on. I’m concerned something might be wrong with the motherboard. I’d like some advice before deciding to replace it again.

Besides confirming the power connections, the main thing anyone can do is verify the PSU's functionality. Most modern PSUs offer an output voltage when you connect a jumper wire. Since I haven't tried this method before, I recommend searching for a tutorial on YouTube to learn how to do it properly. Stay safe and good luck!

Checked if the latest bios version was installed prior to upgrading the CPU. Removed the BIOS CMOS battery and reinstalled it.

They thought the BIOs would work with the same series (5000). You’re checking if changing something affects loading. CMOS refers to a type of integrated circuit used in computers.
