I just moved from a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 7 5700x using an ASUS Prime B450M-A. The CPU fan was extremely loud at startup then settled, but I received an error about the FTPM being corrupted or changed. BitLocker is active on my OS drive, and I chose not to reset it (pressing N). After that, the monitor shows no signal. I’ve tried cutting power and removing the CMOS battery for a while, but the system starts normally yet displays nothing on the screen. I’m worried I might have damaged something permanently.

I don't have access to your system's current settings. Please check your BIOS documentation or device specifications to confirm compatibility with the new CPU.

I reviewed the Asus site and confirmed there are no error LEDs. During startup, no lights were visible.

I made the adjustment to a version that works with the new CPU prior to the change.

I resolved the problem based on guidance from another site. Windows now boots correctly, the new GPU and memory are installed, and I'm working on re-encrypting the drives so they unlock automatically at startup. Appreciate the help!
