Sure thing! Here’s a revised version of your message:

Hey, as mentioned in the title, I can’t boot into my BIOS right after installing the new CPU. I’m not very tech-savvy, but with my friend’s help, I figured out that my X470 works with a Ryzen 5 5600. I also swapped out my GPU for an RTX 4060 and upgraded my power supply to an 80 Gold Premier 650-watt unit. I’m not sure if these changes matter, but I thought it was worth noting. I discovered that the BIOS needed version F62 before installing the 5600, so I upgraded to F31 and then F62. After installing the new components and turning on the PC, everything seemed fine—until I reached the "America Megatrends" screen and pressed Delete to go into BIOS, but it didn’t load properly. Did I miss a compatibility check? Could a few more BIOS updates fix this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s a quick rundown of my setup:
- Ryzen 5 5600 (previous was Ryzen 5 2600X)
- RTX 4060 graphics card
- X470 Aorus Ultra graphics card
- Two SATA SSDs (1TB and 250GB) plus a M.2 500GB drive
- Power supply: 80 Gold Premier 650W

Let me know if you need anything else!

Just upgrade to the latest BIOS version; F62 is outdated. Replace your old CPU and install the F64a update here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X47...rt-dl-bios. You might also reset your BIOS by removing the CMOS battery. Wait a minimum of one minute before considering it not booting. Sometimes the initial start-up is slow, sometimes it takes just a couple minutes.

When the "American Megatrends" display appears, it indicates the CPU has been recognized. If it doesn’t show up, there would be no visual feedback. You might also find that entering the BIOS using F1 isn’t possible without a properly detected keyboard.

I haven't located the bios version for your 5600 yet. Could you share any sources or details where you found this information?

You don't have to choose a particular BIOS edition for your specific processor. If the BIOS version is more recent than your CPU, it should already be compatible. The latest BIOS release for your motherboard was in February 2023, followed by updates in July 2022, February 2022, and so on. This means your CPU has likely been officially supported for at least 18 months or more. Techpowerup mentions needing "AGESA 1.2.0.6b/c" instructions for this chipset, but Gigabyte's official CPU chart lists a different version ("AGESA 1.2.0.5"), which seems incorrect. Your CPU was launched on April 4, 2022, and generally requires a BIOS update for newer chips to function properly.
