New PC setup, Windows installation issue.
I just finished assembling my new PC but I’m stuck installing Windows. I made two separate USB drives, yet neither Windows 10 nor 11 worked on them. When I try to run the installer, it says a required media driver is missing and I can’t proceed further. This hasn’t happened before on my laptop, but it’s been a problem with my new machine since the first post. I don’t know what to do next.
What system are you using? (such as platform name, 11th gen Intel). If you're on Intel, it might involve VMD and a need for an Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver.
I'm using an AMD system with a Ryzen 5 5600X. After several attempts, my USB boot drive isn't listed in the BIOS, so I can't start the installation process.
