Hey there! I just finished building my PC and here are the details: the performance will be listed below. The main problems I’m facing are crashes after about 30 to 45 minutes of gameplay, which occur across a variety of titles—including Division 2, New World, Valorant, Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Mobile 2, Age of Empires 4. Even when I took the machine back to the manufacturer and upgraded it to Windows 11 for free, it still happens occasionally. The random restarts seem unpredictable, and I haven’t been able to pinpoint the cause.

I’ve tried reinstalling Windows 11 properly, cleaning everything thoroughly, redownloading drivers, and performing a full PC wipe before re-downloading. The PC store also did a complete reset and cleared data. If anyone has any insights or suggestions on why this might be happening, I’d really appreciate it. I’m considering reaching out to some tech professionals for a closer look.

Some specs included: Intel Core i9-13900K 3 GHz 24-core, MSI MAG Z790, Corsair iCUE H150i RGB, Crucial MX500 2TB SSD, Lian Li GeForce RTX 4080, Asus TUF Gaming case, and more.

I’d disable XMP to check for stability improvements. Tracking temperatures might also reveal contributing factors.

Just it just flicks off and go to POST on a 'random restart' or is there any audible indication of an issue? Usually in that scenario, it'll still give you an event in event viewer that'll help narrow down the issue. If that event says unknown, then it's going to be more complicated if you've already done a fresh reinstall. RM1000x is plenty, but PSUs can reach thermal limits depending on how its configured and just flick the system off as a protection. Bug check BSODs can just flick the system off sometimes as well, but event viewer should report that properly.

I discovered the sudden restart alert stating "The prior system shutdown at 19:38:55 on 19/05/2023 was unexpected." If another occurs, I'll review it once more.
