Hello everyone, I recently assembled a new PC about three weeks ago. Initially, everything worked smoothly after a few minor issues during the setup. However, after roughly three weeks of mixed use for DaVinci Resolve, games, and movies, it has become quite slow at times and occasionally freezes briefly.

The specifications are as follows:
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000 CL32 GSkill Trident Z5 EXPO
Motherboard: MSI B650 Tomahawk
Wi-Fi SSD: 2TB Crucial T500
SSD: 1TB PCIe Gen 4 2ND
GPU: ASUS TUF RX 7900XT with Adrenalin 24.3.1 OS
Operating System: Win11Pro (latest updates available)

All components are connected via a Gigabyte G32QC through a DP cable, with Freesync and AMD enhanced sync enabled.

The main problems I’m experiencing are random frame drops (possibly at 99% lows?) and occasional micro stutters, especially when using Firefox or Chrome. The CPU is running at stock speed, no overclocking or UV adjustments have been made. The GPU has a power limit of +15% and a custom fan curve applied. I’ve tried the MPO fix, but it didn’t resolve anything.

Some ideas I haven’t tested yet:
- Disable AMD Noise Suppression?
- Turn off Enhanced Sync?
- Disable AMD GPU?

Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated.

What is the status of your case, CPU cooling system, and PSU brand and model?
Have you attempted to run the PC with RAM at standard frequency and EXPO disabled?
What is the BIOS version on your motherboard?
Have you monitored CPU temperatures over the past few days?

Open Task Manager and Resource Monitor to monitor system behavior during tasks like working or gaming. Keep both windows open to track changes when performance slows or freezes. It might help to check for background applications running—such as backups, updates, or calls—and review the Reliability History/Monitor for error codes or warnings that appear when issues arise. Also, examine the Update History for any failed or problematic updates.

I attempted the RAM with expo on/off but didn't notice any changes :/
Where can I find the Mobo Version?
CPU temperatures are normal, idle at 44°C and rise to 79°C under full core load (Noctua NHD15)
Case: Fractal Define 7, equipped with 4 BeQuiet Silent Wings 4
Power Supply: Corsair 1000W RM Gold

You can see which apps are running in the background by using Task Manager. It will list all applications that are active even when you're not using them.
