I upgraded my PC with new components, replacing the old i7 4770K and RX 390 NABSTORKS to an MSI Tomahawk B550 M. I removed everything from all drives, installed Windows via Media Creation Tool, reinstalled games, and redownloaded everything. Now I’m facing some issues. When opening apps like Spotify or Task Manager, Discord is using a high CPU usage—40% according to Task Manager, but only 2% when Discord closes. Random apps spike usage again, making it seem like the system is overloaded. My CPU stays under 50%, but I’m not sure why. I want to understand how this happens so I can prevent apps from hogging resources or causing false readings.
