New pc not working
I received pc components for Christmas but my computer won’t boot or make any sounds.
I have a Ryzen 5 3600, GTX 1060, Gigabyte B450 BD3H, 16GB DDR4 3200, and an Evga 650 PSU.
I tried using a PSU from an older PC with DDR3 and dual-core Athlon, which worked fine. I bought three motherboards from Amazon but none of them are functioning.
What do you think?
all motherboards were identical in make and model?
You need to update the BIOS before installing the 3rd gen Ryzen.
Choose a compatible CPU/APU (1st or 2nd gen Ryzen) or obtain a board with a suitable BIOS, such as B550 boards or newer B450 models like the MAX series from MSI or similar.
