Recently, I chose to upgrade my computer because I needed more power for gaming. My previous setup had an Intel Core i5 3550 with 10GB RAM and a GTX 1050Ti, while I upgraded to an Intel Core i5 9600k with 16GB RAM and a GTX1660Ti. I play Minecraft, but after installing it on my new machine it kept stuttering. I tried reinstalling the game and increasing RAM, but nothing resolved the issue. I also experimented with different video settings and overall configurations without success. Coming from a system six generations behind, my old PC didn’t face this problem, and it’s mostly been happening on this one. Anyone have any suggestions for fixes? Also, when the frame rate drops from over 400 to under 100 FPS, it’s quite noticeable.

I don't have a specific resolution or monitor information. Could you clarify which device you're referring to?

Based on your computer's specifications, you should achieve approximately 200-500 fps. It appears the issue might be related to the screen or a driver. Have you recently updated your drivers? Also, do you use the NVIDIA GeForce expirince?

My computer currently has all the newest drivers installed. I believe it shouldn't be an issue with the display, as my previous setup with a GTX 1050Ti worked fine on that screen.

I did, actually CSGO can stutter sometimes but it's not too obvious compared to minecraft where it's becoming quite noticeable. GTA 5 works well if I keep v-sync on, but it starts to stutter when I turn it off. Rainbow 6 runs smoothly. CSGO and GTA 5 both consume a lot of CPU, which is unusual. Usually in GTA 5 it uses around 80 to 90 percent of my CPU, sometimes reaching 100 percent, while CSGO stays between 60 to 70 percent. I don't know what's causing it at the moment. I thought it might be a faulty CPU, so I replaced it, but the results were the same. I'm sure my power supply is fine because I tested it with another one and nothing changed. Regarding RAM, I tried a different set and even changed the slots. I don't think it's my motherboard, so this is my last option.
