Hello, according to the title, I just assembled a new PC for the first time. This is my second attempt at building one from scratch, and it went perfectly before. This time it’s not working—lights are on but fans stop after the VGA indicator lights up. The components include a Ryzen 5 7600X, an ASRock B650M pro RS Gigabyte motherboard, an RTX 4060 Ti 750W GPU, a GB240 2TB NVMe SSD, and a 2x16GB DDR5 RAM stick. I’ve re-seated everything multiple times, tried different RAM sticks in various slots, and even reset the CMOS on the motherboard. Still no success. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I waited a considerable amount of time, there was no change, it's hard to determine the exact duration but around ten minutes.

The "different mobo" refers to a variation or alternative version of a mobile operating system.

It's the identical model but a new motherboard, meaning both are the ASRock B650M Pro RS. From what I understand, there shouldn't be any compatibility problems unless the board itself is defective.

Initially, launching the Ryzen 7000 series took a long time for memory training due to the complexity of adjusting voltage, timing, and speed. Later updates from AGESA improved this process. I don’t know which BIOS version matches your motherboard, but unless your CPU isn’t properly seated or has been damaged, you might want to restart your PC—perhaps gaining more time. Consider trying a different RAM configuration if needed.

I've verified the CPU, seating, and pins in the motherboard—everything looks good. I'll leave it on for a while, praying it works.

You might want to check for a BIOS update for compatibility.

It has been running for more than a while with no improvement, maybe the RAM is broken

Thank you for your message. Yes, you checked the mainboard and understood the LED indications and the correct RAM placement. You're right—testing with just one stick is a good idea.
